Figma plugin for Mailchimp and Klaviyo

It tells you before you send.

Idem turns a finished Figma promo into a Mailchimp or Klaviyo draft — sliced, linked, and yours to approve.

Grid-built promosDraft onlyNo model in the loop

Select the frame. Approve the draft. That is the whole product.

What it does

Three things happen before the draft leaves Figma.

Before the draft leaves

It tells you before you send.

Every region is checked before the draft leaves Figma. If an area has no link, Idem says so and offers a fallback, because in Gmail an unlinked area opens as a full-screen image.

The Idem panel open beside a Northgate Tools promo frame in Figma. An ochre band reads: Some areas have no link — in Gmail they open as a full-screen image. Add a fallback link so every area clicks through. Some areas have no link Fallback link · Apply

Every slice, labelled

Nothing ships blind.

Alt text sits next to every slice, so nothing goes out unlabelled.

Then it stops

You approve. We never send.

Idem creates the draft and stops. Writing the subject line and pressing send stay your job.

The Idem panel in its ready state: the Northgate Tools promo preview, Audience set to Northgate wholesale — Q4 promo list, a button that reads Create draft in Mailchimp, another that reads Copy HTML, and the line: You approve. We never send. No send button Draft created — nothing sent yet.

How it works

Export a Figma design to Mailchimp or Klaviyo in three steps.

  1. 1

    Select the frame.

One promo frame, built as stacked sections.

  2. 2

    Press the button.

Idem slices it, uploads the images, rebuilds the grid and attaches your links.

  3. 3

    Approve the draft.

It lands in Mailchimp or Klaviyo as a draft. You send it.

The Idem panel: Preview and Alt text tabs, a fallback link field, the Northgate Tools promo preview, and the Create draft in Mailchimp button.

The job it replaces

Forty minutes to rebuild a design that was already finished.

Slice the design into images, upload each one, reassemble the grid, re-attach every link. It takes 30 to 40 minutes, every send — and it is the same work next week. Idem returns the frame as a draft in about two minutes.

Who it's for

Four questions. If the answer is yes to all of them, this is your tool.

  • Are your promos designed in Figma?
  • Are they laid out as stacked sections with products in rows?
  • Do you push the email into Mailchimp or Klaviyo yourself?
  • Does it happen again next week?

Questions

What it does, what it refuses to do, where your key goes.

Does it send anything?
No. It creates or updates a draft. There is no send button.
Where does my API key go?
To your platform and nowhere else.
What about deliverability and accessibility?
The email is built from image slices. Alt text sits next to every slice in the panel. If you need live text, this is not the tool.
Does Copy HTML work without connecting an account?
No. The images have to be uploaded before the HTML can point at them.
What if part of my design overlaps?
It still exports, but that part comes out as one flat image with no clickable regions.

Your key goes to your platform and nowhere else.

Nothing is sent from our side, because there is no send button.

The same shapes every Friday.

There is no model in the loop, so the tenth Friday looks like the first.
